Ok, check this out - although the original promo of the official leaked Oversteps (remember the crossfade itunes debate leak?) ...well get this -

its not ONLY a crossfaded leak of the Oversteps Album but in fact an EXCLUSIVE PROMO with additional mixes/takes on the album !!! I shit you not..

I knew when I heard the official release that I was missing some 'sequences' from the original promo that stood out... This has been the first moment Ive had to confirm it!

But I trust fellow Autechre fans with their sensitive ears to pick up on other differences.. IMO - I prefer the original promo leak with the

The promo leak sounds different to me - I mean musically different, and not just Ilanders repeating twice or whatever. I thought I was imagining things but I'm not.

hmm, i deleted the leaks. so i can't really compare them. that said though, i love the real oversteps just the way it is!

feck it!! I believe that I have been listening to a lame mp3 version with the end of d sho qub chopped off damn it! as I compare it with actual wav. sighhhhhhhhh ach well.. I apologise for any hearts I sent o ver beating.. I was initially excited too - - jeeezo! gutted
