Howard Shore ~ Videodrome

This is out of left field but I always thought Howard Shore's score for Videodrome was wayyyyy ahead of it's time. Recorded in 1983, it's not a million miles away from what folks like Autechre got up to many years later. Okay, the voice is kinda hokey but everything that follows is bananas! And I like the voice.

i have the videodrome score and i do not remember this part, when in the movie does it happen? pretty cool nonetheless

I'm actually not sure when it gets dropped into the film! But it's the first track on my cd. I'll have to throw on the dvd and see. Shore is a favorite of mine, I definitely hear a huge Toru Takemitsu influence in his work, but I would say the same thing about John Williams.
