I didn't read the article but i say good riddance to the burkas. That may sound a little cold but it's the logical solution. The Earth is an unforgiving environment and we need to maximize the liklihood of the survival of our race. Sure, they didn't ask to be born that way but we can't afford passengers who are unable to contribute. Back in the day they probably wouldn't have survived anyway but our modern lifestyles and improved medical care has allowed these admittedly unfortunate people to survive.

I'm not saying lets all make a bonfire and throw the wheelchairs on, i don't want to gloat. Let's just be done with it quietly, efficiently and humanely as possible.

those invisible skywizards sure do cause a lot of problems here in reality-land.

how about the christian woman who wanted to wear her cross at work? do you guys support her?

Thats just divisive on your part. What do you reckon? Its about choice, not some sort of partizan belief shit.

this is like the foxhunting ban i.e. a massive fucking fuss over nothing.

there must be like 3 people who wear the burka in belgium anyway

Nice avatar =)

THEY CAME FIRST for the Communists,

and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.

THEN THEY CAME for the Jews,

and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.

THEN THEY CAME for the trade unionists,

and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.

THEN THEY CAME for me

and by that time no one was left to speak up.

not sure i understand your sentences

i think: let 'em wear what they bloody want if its down to religious beliefs that are centuries old

it's just thick to let in huge amounts of muslims legally and then tell them what they can and cant wear when theyre here

id like, liberty but with a tight immigration policy because i dont like the idea of britain ending up like the horror of india/pakistan when they got divorced

The verisimilitude in a half arsed collective postmodern thought, sometimes just depresses me.

Aren't the muslins "culturalists" as well in bringing their culture and even superimposing it on a foreign country?

dur? How are they "superimposing" by wearing the clothing they like?

Right it's just a fashion right then :whistling:

a) it's imposing, not superimposing

b) how does someone choosing to wear an item of clothing impose on anyone other than themselves? i'm sure you wear whatever the fuck you want every day.

c) GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH :wtf:
