Convince Me to get a PS3 and not an XBOX

ok so

1. i already have a bluray player so that dont help

2. i hear the online networks suck. can i play call of duty mw2?

3. i hear despite fast cpu the architecutre is buggy. will new vegas look good?

any other pross cons?

oh and GOD OF WAR COLLECTION is like 40 percent why im doing this....ive NEVFERR played ANY of those games

They only thing PS3 has going for it is MGS4. They PS3 online is shit cos they dont charge for it and I think they are going to start at some stage.

Just to clarify, I dont own either. I have a really good PC, which I would recommend over the other two.

PS3 has the better media server, for watching shit.

pros: all grade A games, xboxlive is amazing, better contollers, skyplayer (uk only i think)

ps3

cons: you can do everything it does media-wise on-line anyways, only a select few games

god of war isnt a good reason to get a ps3. its just a basic hack and slash action game. youre going to get bored of it after the first game.

xbox has a very high chance of going wrong. i heard the returns due to faults is over 50%..

Emmm no, I wasn't being sarcastic. I genuinely think that MGS4 is the only thing PS3's have going for it.

I think they're working on bring out Crysis for the Xbox too. I'm sure the graphics won't be as good but still.

Its less than that but the warranty covers that. Its just the hassle of bringing it back, but they will give you a new one.

Which means: Don't buy a used one.

MGS4 is crap.

anyway... get a ps3 insetad of an xbox or i'll kill your family.

if you like having to load a hyper sensitive easily scratch abl disc into your PS3 everytime you want to stream from netflix, than get a PS3

if you want your blueray drive to completely stop working after a firmware update, get a PS3 (this happened to me and was kind of my final straw with new videogames)

in my own personal experience and the experience of people i am friends with they have never had any issues with their Xbox 360s, I however am left with a dead PS3 that had it's drive stop working immediately after an official firmware update
