Yeah it was one of these.......... :emotawesomepm9:

That cable looks fucking retarded. How much did he pay for it? I always cringe when I see those $200 hdmi cables, I got my 10' for like $7 and it works perfectly.

EDIT: even being an HDMI cable your original post doesn't make any sense. sega emulator laptop xbox hdmi????? what?

That pic was a joke.

I've obviously done a great big

I was just saying he got a cable from his laptop to his tv, which basically allowed him to play emulators off his pc on his TV. Maybe the Xbox doesnt come into it at all, but you use the Xbox controller.

Someone else can probably explain it better.

Ah, I think I got it:

laptop running sega emulator using xbox 360 control pad with HDMI out ---> HDTV ---> horribly pixelated retro gaming

I own a PS3, 360, and Wii. It's ideal for me. All I need is a good gamin' PC.

PS3 has a confusing interface.

Huh, I've had more confusing shits than the interface. Let's see, OK I want to play a game where do I go - Oh maybe the game menu ? Now I want to listen to some music where could I possibly go for that, hang on, could the Music menu possibly be it ?

Okay, by confusing I mean ill-formed.

I got a PS3 and love it. I want a 360 too at one point.

I love watching Blu-Rays

I love the PSN Games

I love putting everything I download from Cinemageddon on my PS3

I love watching Netflix stuff, I assume it will cease to use the disc at one point in the future.

I basically bought it to go along with my HDTV when I got it last year, don't regret it.

I read that as Carmageddon. Remember that game? Is there a Twisted Metal game in the works for PS3? That alone is a good reason to grab one...

There are rumours that Dave Jaffe is working on a new Twisted Metal but he keeps denying it...

My Xbox crapped out recently with the 3 red rings problem. I called Xbox asking about repairs because I had been told that they would fix it for free if it was a first gen xbox which it was. After I called they said that it was out of the 3 year warranty and I would have to pay $140 to get it fixed. Fuck that. Also the media player interface and just generally the entire xbox dashboard is kinda fucked.

The point is that I paid like $500 for this thing and >3 years afterwards it totally craps out without me doing anything that could even remotely be thought to cause damage to it.

By comparison, my Snes, N64 and Ps2 are all still working fine.

god of war isnt a good reason to get a ps3. its just a basic hack and slash action game. youre going to get bored of it after the first game.

ya i wouldnt play the other two if you hadnt yet...the first one is pretty outdated but the next two rule and if you like puzzle games you cant deny that there are some good ones in GoW. But if you're just gonna go through a strategy guide or w.e then forget it

I think Kevin Butler sums up the Wii and Natal control schemes pretty well:

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

Yup. Considering the success of the first one, this one is downright amazing. Probably will end up GotY just for the sheer creative aspect of it.

oh and in case you want to have the cheapest High Performance Computing you may consider a PS3 before a Xbox360

Air Force bought 1700 PS3

but on the downside the ps3 seems to be losing features over the time:

- no more backwards capability

- no more Other OS
