Autechre Oversteps Tour - live rig

Has anyone got any photos or looked at the gear Autechre are using on the current tour? Is it the same as Quaristice?

they're got 2 mac pros interfacing with AIM, they send commands to one another and load them up in their master max/msp superflux algorithm. their midi is also synced using morse code and the timestamp on each GPU as a naturally recurring subset of 3 different instances of logic. they don't want you to know they use logic though so the gui has been reworked to simulate the classic RedHat (only) Linux entertainer Mines weepers.

I thought I spotted a Kenton Killamix on Rob's side.

If I were more motivated, I'd dig up that thread up but I sez all that to say that some of those glitched out Genesis games sounded straight off of "Oversteps". Between that and my wife asking me to turn down my "doorbell music" so she could ask a question when I was listening to "Oversteps", sometimes I wonder if we've all gone off the end along with Sean and Rob...like, next album really will come from a set of vintage electronic door bells and we'll all be like "PROPA FOOKIN' BRILL INNIT!!!!!"

they might be using more than that. it looks like they are both using some rackmount gear (the macs and the nord are sitting on top of them).

i wouldn't be surprised if rob is still using his g2 engine. not sure what sean is using, tho.
