was always under the impression key nell was just chiastic slide outtakes.

listening to it this morning, started thinking how incredibly boc-cy the vocal treatment is. i mean, that goes without saying, but has anyone ever actually suggested and gone with the idea that boc were involved? we all know that gescom started off as a collaborative project with autechre being key members. and autechre were in communication with boc around this time. skam buddies. warp buddies.

Might be kinda far fetched but the vocal processing DOES sound pretty similar to tracks like Telephasic Workshop.

And I'd definitely rate it up there with some of their best. The 2 Ae remixes are damn great too.

Yeah I know, to be honest I really doubt it, but Key Nell and Music Has The Right we're roughly around the same time so it's not impossible.

what an amazingly frustrating interview. hinting that they make tons of music, but only pick a few that fit together, in a certain mood, at a certain point in time. they might as well retire straight away and do a FSOL releasing their archives kind of thing. ...i'll come back when i'm 50.
