Her popularity seems inexplicable to me. Gaga I can understand - her songs are solid catchy pop music, she puts a lot of effort into her public image, and I guess she can play at least a little piano. But Katy Perry? I thought her first hit was shit, and was also a rip-off of that other "I kissed a girl" track. Hell, Lily Allen seems to have more talent in her little finger than Perry.
