It's a long way away but this box set sounds pretty awesome, plus an exclusive Autechre remix amongst others.

Haha, I love it. Sent it to a few friends who are big Desmond fans and lols were had all around.

xxx:

Bonobo - Dial 'M' For Monkey (must have)

Bonobo - Black Sands (came out about a month ago - excellent)

Yppah - You Are Beautiful At All Times

recently here in seattle yppah opened for bonobo on their current tour, and it was an excellent show. they performed with a full band (yeah i know, REAL INSTRUMENTS) and i had a blast. if you cant be arsed, just get dial m for monkey. also, this is in no way idm related so even posting this in the autechre subforum is sacrilege and i will get slandered

one of bonobo's supar hits:

Yeah I saw this, but since not everyone visits that forum regularly and it's Autechre related I thought I'd post here as well.

List your top 10 or even 15-20 Ninja Tune tracks by as many artists as you can think of--preferably with YouTube links; I would certainly be appreciative--promise to dig in with new 21st century ears.

I don't think I could muster 10 but,

Coldcut - Rubaiyat (OK, it's not really that good but it's pretty mellow and listenable...just for the sake of picking something already in your collection)

The Bug - Poison Dart ft. Warrior Queen

Kid Koala - Some of my Best Friends Are DJs (album, not super-good but fun)

TBH that's all I got, lol. I just went through their catalog on discogs and now I feel music-deprived just from the sheer amount of releases they've put out that I have never even heard of.

edit: one more... I always liked "Bend Over" from Wagonchrist's Musipal. I guess cos it's got this certain vibe of comfortable, snickering, sort of detached aloofness that I'm grateful it gave me a description for.

xxx best 2 albums on ninjatune by a longshot imo . they are a jazz band being processed through a hip hop production, their later stuff is just more a straight up live jazz thing but the early stuff is golden.

Cinematic Orchestra, The - Motion

Cinematic Orchestra, The - Every Day

The label has certainly fallen behind the times over the past 10 years but they still had some great ones.

Amon Tobin - Out From Out Where

Wagon Christ - Musipal

Wagon Christ - Sorry I Make You Lush

I am really disappointed that there has not yet been one mention of the of DJ Food Sexy Bits (Ae9v Mix):

Damn this track still breaks my neck today!
