I think overall Seattle is pretty fit. When I lived in Houston, far more fatties.

i've never seen busier mcdonald's restaurants than i have in cities in other countries. i saw one that was 3 stories high in Sweden, and there must have been at least 200 people in it.

But there are probably few McDonald's, and fewer fast food chains in general.

True that. We know mcdonalds is everywhere. That's a fact. The increasing of fat people just depends on whether they go or don't go to it.

I thought it was more a "Portuguese Mediterranean food is not all that fucking healthy" sort of thing.

It's not like italian food. But it has the olive oil, the tomatoes and the bread too. Its just different, but healthy as well. At least 1000x healthier than usa food. If they actually have a tradition on food.

i'm not fat. I'm not skin and bones either. cause i don't eat too much and like to move my body around for a bit every or every other day. and once in a while i'll much down a big chipotle burrito with guac or snag a frisco melt at steak 'n shake. I don't see whats so hard about that. just make sure you eat some veggies and fruits and not too much fried shit. i fucking hate this boxing day thread

There's a lot of very, very good food in the USA. A lot of it is no less healthy than your favorite National Cuisine. It's not all burgers and fast food.

lol at this fucking pissy European nationalism.

undoubtably, mostly concentrated to big cities, but that doesn't forgive McDonald's and other fast food chains' popularity abroad. 'americans are so fat,' as whopper bits spray from their mouths.

i don't really have a problem with the way people want to eat in any part of the world, i just find the hypocrisy and out-lashing annoying

at my new job they bring in breakfast on fridays, usually it's breakfast egg burritos topped with more egg and maybe a slice or two of cheese. since they have started a weight loss initiative here, some genius decided on donuts today.

me - "what's to eat?'

them - "donuts."

me - "is there anything healthy?"

them - "well, there's sausage down there"

yeah, like putting a breakfast cock in my mouth is really gonna make things better.

People see something fatty as being healthier than something sugary. Which is just retarded.

You really have to experience some weeks or even months in europe to understand why they call it the "old continent" and why is it such a good place to live a healthy life, not just because of the food or culture, but everything.

the american lifestyle is very unhealthy because the structure of most cities in the united states forces the usage of a vehicle instead allowing people to walk to the grocery, school, etc. like in many european cities. also, i'm sure that the use of hormones and other additives in all the meat we eat somewhat contributes to obesity.

I guess you are right. At least from what i can see on the tv, traffic on usa it's totally chaotic. Seems to consume a lot of people's time. That brings both physical and mental problems.

lol fuck off i am not going to babelfish argue with you. i've pissed in your back yard before.

Look the French are quite fat too, look at all their food its all cased in butter. And if theyre not fat its because they dont eat they just smoke.

France still has one of the lowest heart attack rates in Europe though. Why? Because the drink, the have wine with most meals. Thins the blood and means cholesterol doesn't have as big as an effect.

Well, that's true. Both lands have been there since the begining.

The continental shield in Canada contains some of the oldest rock on the Earth.

America is fat because we like to watch TV, eat high calorie foods and drive our cars. Our cities were not built hundreds or thousands of years ago when people could only walk or ride an animal. We're a very spread out nation. The UK is 683.5 miles (1100km) north to south and 302 miles (486 km) at its widest point. My state is 400 miles east to west and roughly 200 miles north to south. That's almost as large as your entire country...
