Just got back from there!!!

I certainly didn't record but I think there were a few goings on near the back!!!

The more I hear about these recent shows, the more I want to go to the LED Festival to see him.

Except for the problem that that is in Victoria Park and the SOUND levels in Vickie Park are UTTERLY UTTERLY SHIT and all you will hear is vague Twinny noises off in the distance subsumed the huge roar of thousands upon thousands of Hackney cockwads.

I am so gutted I couldnt make it. It just would have cost too much driving up from Aberdeen, the ticket etc etc. Shit :(

Dayyem?!?!!? didn't consider the bus????? I got a return bus from Glasgow for £30, so I left from Glasgow via bus at 9 in the morning. Arrived at Rockness with my day ticket (which cost about £70 :( ) at about 1ish to just at lunchtime

I took out twenty quid from a cash machine because I realised I only had a tenner on me (the buggers charged £3 for that!!!!)

So all in all I spent £130, and for the entire day I'm not complaining!

Ragga Twin's were my next favourite imo, they gave out free brandy and CDs. I went up to get some Brandy as they were pouring it out, using my hands and they went "You ain't jesus son" so I opened my mouth and they poured it lmao.

But yeah, Afx was and will be the best show that Festival saw EASILY. I caught some of Leftfield after Afx but tbh I was just to spaced out from the awesomeness I just witnessed that it paled far too much in comparison.

Oh and he payed someone to use cameras on the crowd, so his visuals were distortions of the crowd. And because I was right up at the front, everyone saw me pulling silly faces and getting right into it quite a lot :P

He also had his dancers back, first with plain Afx T shirts, then returning in white suits, then finally for the finale returning with evil clown costumes :D

He played some tunes I didn't expect like Fingerbib and a pumped up version of Tha for a start (oh TOO BADASS too fucking awesome... I shat bricks when I heard the chords, then he beefed it up with an extra beat on top and you were in fucking heaven) and Heliosphan if I can recall correctly as well.....

he played quite a few Analords as well... Klopjob from the third Analord, Halibut Acid I think.

A slowed down version of Meltphace was fucking EPIC.#

At the start he used the opening yawn noise from Afx237 V7 as a teaser but didn't kick off into that song.

He DEFINITELY played Fredugolon 6 which I remember clearly now :D as well as Alspacka, that I also remember

he also played a bit of that tune "Storm" by InSync as he did in France near the start too....

all in all it was a fucking amazing set being dominated by a mixture of his new stuff and all those other awesome tunes as I mentioned above that were played.

I still want to know what his finale song was... he's played it before, it was a SICK Gabba beat.... (it begins at 4:15 here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7A6QkY16Qg&feature=player_embedded) - This was when he had his clowns out on the stage, entire tent was bouncing.

Someone else who went may be able to back it up, but, if memory serves, I'm pretty sure that it was Wisp, not AFX, who was playing between the times you mentioned there.

Yeah, I mean the video too. The tune you are after, based on the times in the video, was during Wisp's set. As far as the tune goes, it's probably one of his own, but I'm just guessing as I have no idea. Good though.

aaah!!! interesting!!! shall peruse more of Wisp's stuff that is available online... might be in that back catalogue as I haven't heard all of that stuff "In A Blue Face" and "One Thousand Tommorows" are the only ones I've heard from that lot I think apart from the SAW II remixes :(
