oh yeah he elaborates in some interview somewhere supposedly he made one of his albums after smoking crack trying to recreate the feelings of the crack high and he was staring at this can of energy drink with the devil on it the whole time. I think in the same interview he mentioned making some track he started to imagine the tracker window being made out of some marble material and he was literally building the track or different colored marble made different sounds or something

I hope he re-releases greg hates car culture with bonus tracks like he says!

He hasn't updated those things about the albums for awhile. I want to see what he has to say about things like Cavalcade, Filth, Doll Doll Doll/Find Candace, and really anything. hah

He hasn't been making music long enough to have a subforum (although I was told this 3 years ago), And he isn't from the UK.

Ha, there was no Cylob subforum when I discussed this, and I think I was Pissy about now vsnares forum because the Vibert one was next. I remember saying "What's Next, Cylob". I came back a couple years later and chuckled.

And yes, I don't either. Came for the Aphex and Boards of Canada, stayed for the community.

I just bought the Horsey Noises EP. I really like it, especially "Horsey Vag Island."

It's the first snares thing I've bought in like two years or so.

Up until yesterday I only knew Venetian Snares by name, seen multiple times here on the forums.

My go-to 2nd-hand recordstore, Accord, has an employee who digs the IDM acts and what not, so I chat with him whenever I'm there and I get some discounts once in a while if I buy proper music, haha. I found a whole line of 6 records, mixed Autechre and Squarepusher, put up for display, I just grabbed it all and he was delighted and asked me if I knew of Venetian, since there was a record on the same shelf, but it was sold a few hours earlier. So I checked it out.

It's really some of the most amazing stuff I've listened to for a long time. I can't stop listening to "Hajnal". Classical music, jazz and then the breakbeats shakes everything up. So well-done.
