no, the 'repress' still has a problem - MPO only repressed sides C and D (which sound fine), sides A and B are pressed from the same master that had problems. a few birdies tell me that the whole debacle has led to Skam dropping them as a vinyl supplier.

just thought i'd let you know so as you could make an informed decision on buying the vinyl. i'm still glad i have it to play on my turntable.

i think my A & B is better on the first pressing i had the second one was covered in light scuffs/stains that must of been from the pressing stage (MPO)

would be nice to hear what Skam really thought about them.

lets hope one day they get it cut again by someone like Matt @ Air or someone at D&M =)

I would still buy it the vinyl though, dont be put off its really not that bad.

in what sense does it need to be remastered 'properly'

i don't get it, the album is loud but that was clearly the intention of who made the music and also who mastered it

it's painful to listen to, on headphones at least. it could use a little dynamic range.

has a bit of high end edge, so roll it off if it bothers you so much

love this album, awaiting his next release in as much anticipation as autechre/boc
