I did read the rules, as this thread is about Richard and his musical style i din't think it would be a problem.

Plus i thought it would be fun. Do you have a track to post that you think sounds like Richard a bit?

as much as it does have a bit of Aphex in there, i'm hearing more Drexciya / Dopplereffekt inspiration in there...maybe it's just me?

Ah, I'm glad it's not just me who thought this. Kissing a Robot Goodbye (to me, at least) sounds like ...I Care Because You Do, only more mellow and dreamy. It's also as short as an RDJ album.

Although not my own music, I found this person on myspace a few years back and really like his/her/their tunes.

The track "Heads Down Thumbs Up" has a definite 95 96 era RDJ sound.

Could really do with feedback on this one, a few people have told me it reminds them of Richard, I can't hear any similarities myself though. What do you guys think? cheers

dunno.... this one.... i've done other stuff which is glitchier/ambienter/drillier but this is probably the one i was most conscious of a RDJ influence in. basically i was trying to do hip hop SAWII.
