ceephax what do the big boys use live?

The Novation lauchpad with PC based Laptop running Albeton seem to be popular with Cylob, Goon and Wisp.

Autechre have moved from the Elektrons + G2 + MPC1000 + CME Bitstream to two Powerbooks (with Max I presume) and a NL2X.

I saw Plaid with two laptops (couldn't get any closer).

I've read Clark uses two MPC1000's and Plastikman was using a Powerbook and two iPads before they got knicked.

Ceephax does it the old fashioned way with his vintage Rolands + some workstation keyboard and a machinedrum last time I saw him.

Snares was using a CD player and a Macbook for FX (I think).

Fuck Buttons use a Macbook and a load of cheap looking kit.

Has anyone seen or know what any other electronic artists are using live these days hardware/software wise?

Anyone who mentions Daft Punk can go suck arshole.

Tycho uses the Vestax VCM-600 with a Macbook and Ableton Live

The Glitch Mob uses multiple Jazzmutant Lemurs along with PC laptops running Ableton Live and a bunch of Akai MPD24s, Alesis Drum ControlPads, and a bunch of synths I couldn't identify

forgot to mention seeing Uwe Schmidt on youtube using only an MPC (3000 I think)

I use Live.

moderat uses a shitload of kit like nords, a bunch of laptops, some live drum sampling like Maschine I think, and guitars.

Actually a Vaio that runs Renoise, a modded 303, two cd decks and a mixer.

Wisp uses FL Studio. And by the looks of it, he even uses it live..

Daft Punks current setup is just an automated show with very little interaction which is similar to what ole JMJ did in the 80's with his mega concerts although after much criticism he has (after 30yrs) started to actually play his synths instead of just posing with a keytar

it all to often electronic 'acts' get away with doing fuck all and playing more to the technical naivety of the audience rather than playing anything creative or skilled on stage and this really pisses me off but remember mophos I'm watching and I'll report any frauds to the masses

Ye that was the whole point of the picture.

Ive seen quotes from him saying that immediately after he realised it was unplugged and plugged it back in. Still though, pretty funny. I dont go to see Justice for their Technical knowledge, Im fairly sure Ive got more and I nearly have none.
