England with some incredible mediocrity against a shite Bulgaria side.

When's the last England played a really good national game, seriously?

But still, 3-0 against Bulgaria doens't seem like a bad result at all (didn't watch the match).

Bulgaria were fucking gash though. Utter shite. Rooney's two goals were probably the easiest he's ever scored for the national side.

yeah I don't know what the fuck Capello was thinking starting Barry and Parker. And Young is wasted in the middle, him and Downing should have been switching wings from the start. How the fuck England is ranked 4th in the world right now, that's gotta be some calculating error.

I did used to know why we rank so highly. I think it's because we beat everyone else in our European sector consistently. Hopelessly fail against the 10 better teams in the world, but consistently beat San Marino and Luxembourg. Yay.

Or we pay them. We probably pay them.

Yeah of the teams ranked below England - Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, maybe even Portugal would probably beat the England side that showed up against Bulgaria pretty handily.

So...qualified.

And at least we have a built-in excuse for when we don't win.

My only interest in euro 2012 is what holland will do against spain in the finals. As holland seeks to prove to being able to win over spain by playing actual football instead of karate. And i believe they might be able to do so.

Germany third.

Group A: Poland, Greece, Russia, Czech republic

Fantastic group

isn't it kinda sad that nearly everyone in poland is rather frightened than happy because if we lose in this group there is no hope for us at all?

Not so sure about Portugal not proceeding, Holland has a bad history playing against them and Germany seems to be on fire atm. Can't predict much anyway as there are bound to be injuries etc.

We (Denmark) just beat Portugal 2-0, 2 months ago. So don't count us out either ;)

We must be considered the underdogs in the group. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. Could be a very good thing for us. I know Denmark don't have alot of stars/big names. But we are usually a good tournament team (South Africa excluded, lol).

Yeah that group is really crazy. I just don't want a German fuck up. At all.

Yeah Denmark will play well - you guys usually play better in the Euros anyways.

Portugal - no carvalho, and pepe probably getting a red card in the first match means they're left with Coentrao (very concerned with his hair), and Alves (almost as old as me) to shore up the defence. Germany will have a field day. However the Holland - Portugal match on the final day of the group stage could be one of the best of the tournament, simply because of Portuguese attacking prowess.

Will england be able to scrape out enough draws to make it past the group stage?
