Yeah, I like this. I thought if there were set sizes (perhaps a limited number of different ones) to plots, the constraints could be interesting.

Venice sounds great too. Post creative mode sketches if you have any.

I was going to single-handedly build a small city made of huts and shit in the upper desert on mine and Kaini's island. I am majoring in Urban Planning, actually, so of course it will be a grid system with named streets. Will probably follow the concentric zone model, since the others won't make sense in a minecraft setting, lol.

I shall start in a couple of minutes. Hopefully I'll have enough supplies.

But, if you were to start a city somewhere else, I'd build a bakery for you, of course.

If you build there murve you'll be right across the water from me. I'm planning on a dock on my peninsula and possibly a pirate ship docked at it if I ever get that far.

Forgot to hide my HUD, but here is the beginning of my town. Half of the residential district is done. Probably will put down a main street of business. This shot is from my bakery roof. The city will probably be twice this big when I finish, and several of the houses may have a second story (And roofs).

I'm currently in need of cobblestone/stone, netherack, and pumpkins... or any building material.

I am unsure if I will be on tonight (American time). I have a shitload of real-life stuff to work on. If you swing by though, put it in the bakery tip chest. The bakery is the biggest building in town (until I build some awesome stuff), and is made of Brick and Wood Blocks.

We need a new map that's labeled with Building/Site names, and who made them. Is there some sort of web thing we can upload a picture to, and collectively edit it? It'd have to be password protected to keep MaximusMischief away from it
