It's the 2nd of May, if nothing changed the hardcore servers should have been reset yesterday. I would find great to hang out there with some watmmer pal and do some harsh grief'n'slay action. If you pm me I'm a happy man.

So, the next update has been pushed further into the future and that has made me sad a bit.

Anyone else sad a bit?

Recently started up a new server with a few very minor mods (more ores and hopper ducts to be exact - nothing more, no modpacks or other shit like that) - still getting it all worked out (been having some issues with the host, but it should all be resolved within a couple days). I'd be happy to include you gents if you're interested in playing. Just for reference, the only people planning to play on the server so far are some friends of mine who ended up on the Brighton server for awhile.

Anyway, i'll update everyone once i get this shit worked out and then i'll send the ip to whoever is interested. Just figured i should invite y'all

Just realized I never saw this post before now. Sorry for having missed it. I hope you had fun. As far as I can remember I played two hours and gave away because I thought it was not so funny alone.

I tell people about minecraft still and often get a "it looks kind of childish and weird" response. It's not just me that had some seriously magical gaming moments playing this game right? I usually give up trying to convince them to try it..

Server is up and running! If you're interested in playing, let me know here in a post or in a pm and i'll send you the ip - you'll have to install the 2 mods but that's super easy and takes all of 3 minutes, and I'll link you up with what you need.

I know what you mean, I also have to feel like a weirdo when I'm telling people about Minecraft. Still I'm convinced it's one of the bests game I've played in the last years!

what problem(s) are you running into? what exactly isn't working?

FYI (everyone): once the new update comes out i'll be dropping all or most of the mods and switching over/resetting the map, just for accessibility's sake. mods are can be fun but having more players is more fun.

Yeh, I'll just join when 1.8 is out too. Some pretty cool new stuff in the update. Not sure about the rabbits though

I thought they were great! especially that rare evil rabbit they threw in. Other mobs look cool as well

1.8 should be out 2nd september.

So yeah! The server has been reset and all the mods have been dropped - I'm using the official 1.8 pre release now, and will be switching over to 1.8 once it is officially released on September 2nd. For those interested in playing, you'll need to create a profile in your launcher that allows development versions to be used and select 1.8 pre from the drop down. IP is the same, but if you need a reminder or I didn't originally message you about the old modded server, just send me a pm.
