Aphex Twin Aphex Twin @ Nordik Impakt - 9 Oct - Caen [France]

I wonder why there's no post about this live already. It's not gonna be a DJ set, right ? Or maybe that's because it happens in France ;)

Anyway, this is for the last night of Nordik Impakt festival (line up here) and the tickets are around 30€.

You should put this in the Aphex Twin forum, as I thought the Ibiza gig was his last one for the year.

I was really disappointed by this live... The festival line-up was very techno, so he played some techno-songs that reminded me the early 90s ones he made (Classics especially). But seriously, the sound was so crappy... Most of the time I couldn't even hear the notes...

I expected something like the songs he played at Metz but it had apparently nothing to do with that. The only two things that I recognized was a slowed-down (and very good) version of Vordhosbn, and a final My Doom (Analord 11).

My last point is the fact that he's kinda anti-communicative with the public but that was the first time I saw him and wouldn't be surprise if you told me he's always like that in live.

Anyway, the night was funny, so, nevermind...

(but still... !)
