Zeitgeist - Moving Forward (now online)

haha, he just might..

he's 10 weeks now, and his level of prey drive is extreme

even for a herding breed from working stock bloodline.

he'll drop food out of his mouth while he's chewing it

the very instance something passes his FOV in motion.

heelers frequently kill themselves defending their owners

in circumstances of self-defense. absolute devotion bro. ;)

but yeah back on topic..

i really think this zeitgeist dreaming is silly..

its obvious the majority on the planet are going to ruin it for the rest of us

no matter how perfect your plan is.

want to do your part? stop consuming so much.

atleast you'll sleep a little easier.

but even that doesn't do shit, in fact it probably makes it worse as

prices go up and the demand goes down.

i guess what it all comes down to is we're all fucked because

somewhere in our gene pool there's code expressing "don't give a fuck about anyone"

and its propagating rapidly as we continue to reproduce.

not to mention spread by environmental factors such as socialization, family, peers, media.

its a fire we can't extinguish any more and it will kill most of us eventually.

little by little i have been reducing myself down,

currently it takes me about half a car load and 10-15 minutes to unload my entire lifestyle

into any apartment i move into..

i'm keeping it at that until i have the means to continue further and further.

but i could really care less about humanity anymore, i love 'em and all

but its just about me at the end of the day..

i feel at home in the forest and want to feel more welcome there.

it's alive too you know.

spot on video post and great tune  !

i think the post-industrial world is full of beautiful, complex things.

science is man's greatest accomplishment and the creations we've made with it

can often be wonderful and awe-inspiring.

but we are NOT the dominant species on this planet and are fools for believing we are.

and we have only made it this far relying on the other kingdoms' creations.

we are shitting all over the plantae and fungal kingdoms.

but fungi luckily continue to recycle that which we destroy,

and miraculously rebirth life cycles in the process.

if we destroy the fungal kingdom itself as we continue to do all life on Earth will suffer greatly.

we've relied on the plant kingdom for so much,

yet given back so little. like fungi, if destroyed all life on Earth will suffer greatly.

fun fact: almost every plant on the planet lives in mutualistic symbiosis with fungal species.

most animals also depend on the all of the kingdoms, but live lives so low impact their death

feeds the cycle without damaging balance.

but humans? no, we create so quickly and damage so fast without restoring what we've taken.

we drop nukes on entire ecosystems just to make sure they're proper killing machines.

but i guess at this point asking all of humanity to only take what they need,

and give back to the Earth more than we consume is.. well.. useless and not going to happen.

so fuck it, maybe we should just create a scientific utopia.

there's enough resources on the planet for everybody to have some! right!?

fiznuthian: you should read Kamo no Chomei's "Hojoki". It is a beautiful essay from the 12th century, Chomei was a poet who renounced society to live as a hermit. it discusses such things as the transience of the world, suffering faced by man, attachment and desire.

Read it here, hope you enjoy.

백호야~~~항상에 사랑할거예요.나의 아들.

Shout outs to the saracens, musulmen and celestials.

Theatrical Premiere of the Feature-Length Documentary "Zeitgeist: Moving Forward" Breaking World Records Already

I expect the press (most likely independent media) to be doing a lot of reporting on the screenings all next week, globally.

Looking forward to seeing the film.

There are quite a few screenings in Sweden - are any close by to you?

I have already watched the film by the way (because I'm setting up a screening in my country and coordinators receive the film in advance) and it is incredible. I hope everyone in this thread watches it - it is very powerful. Perhaps Peter Joseph's best film yet. It covers so many areas really, really well.

check the map for screeings in Sweden:

edit: The main screening is in Los Angeles tomorrow evening and the Q+A should be streamed on the net. If I'm around on the net tomorrow I'll post a link for the stream in this thread in case anyone is interested.

powerful is probably the wrong word - there are some emotive qualities to it anyway

there will not be a torrent until after the global screenings (screenings finish around Jan. 25th)

Here's a teaser:

Will be released online for free download on January 25th. The global screenings have been going very well.

good ideas but very utopian

lol this is addressed in the film in a very comedic way

this looks really interesting, it looks like the first tone that's been produced proper.

Edited by Awepittance

this will inevitably gain millions of views on the net, as with the previous films

even if you disagree with the movement, I think there is so much important information crammed into this one film that almost everyone will finish watching this film having learned something new or agreeing with some aspect conveyed.

also, there are some good comedic in this one to break up the information. In the local screening I arranged, everyone burst out laughing at these moments

My God, this is boring.

And the production is so crappy and juvenile it's driving me insane. The 'false-focus' that's created is the worst, when someone's talking to the camera the space around their face is blurred in an editing suite to give the illusion that they used decent cameras and not handhelds. Ugh. Scum.

this is not a hollywood movie, the director is on limited funds. What about the information though? > surely this is the most important point about the film otherwise you are wasting your time.

30 minutes in and im bored to death. is the rest of the film like this? how much should i skip to avoid being exposed to the same point over and over and over?

ZOMG! Lazerz pew pew pew!!!!11!!1!!!!1!oneone!shift+one!~!!!
