So according to this there is a new aphex interview in five years (not quite true I guess, the future music interview was the most recent?):

He's not an island?..its probably just an older richard. We dont really know him, just the persona he created all through the years. Maybe hes realizing he is a 40 year old that plays with synthesizers and he should feel lucky anyone gives a shit about him
