autechre remixes are generally amazing.

i love listening to the remixes because they're still very new to me. i love to put on the collection and hear a bunch of still unfamiliar autechre.

the stereolab remix is my favorite for now, i love how they make the singer sound like a malfunctioning robot elf

The D'Breez "Crazy for Love" rmx on the Skam Mask 500 Ep is sick.... Really emotional and very very dancy...

That's Hell Interface doing Trapped...

Edit: No, no it isn't. Where have I heard this shit before? I'm fairly certain that isn't Autechre, unless when I heard this track the first time it was mislabeled...hmmm...

definitely belongs in the 'happy autechre' camp

Got this the other day. I think the SND remix is better, but this one is excellent.

One of my favourites, from around Chiastic Slide-era:

Simultaneously very harsh and incredibly relaxing.

Just discovered one of them this morning and it's really good (seems like it's been made 1996, between Tri Rep and Chiastic Slide)

I have a feeling that most of their remixes have more "danceable" elements ; like this one having that amazing beat. Love it.

Gotta catch 'em all !

Just passing by to add another grain of sand to the wishfully thinking "if I just bitch and moan, the remix album must follow sooner than later". Or something along those lines. The beauty of Ae remixes is that there's an original somewhere in the world which only use is to articulate the brilliance of the Ae-minds.

Enough of my sunday-morning mumbling.

autechre presents: nine thousand mixes for cash. Pre-order includes set of 56 chocolate coins.

i think they might be afraid people will say it's their best/yummiest album in recent years

each coin is the flavor of older ae tracks, and you have to guess what's what.

Love me some Autechre remixes!

In the days of Kazaa, when I was busy devouring new Autechre material I stumbled upon a bunch of these and became obsessed with tracking them down. So many great tracks!

I nabbed the Laxir collection, but indeed some of those aren't the highest quality.

The only AE remix I have a real copy of is the Lamb - Gold mix from a 2 CD Lamb remix compilation. Good CD... has mixes by Bola and others as well.
