i liked some of 2nd gig when I saw it a few years ago. but no, i don't mean the tv series. They actually remade the original film scrapping a lot of the cell drawn animation for jerky cg. Ah here it is.. wikipedia is your friend.

avoided the GITS 2.0 remake money cow like a plague, I haven't even downloaded the thing... and what's the point? so I can see 3d shit mixed in with the 2d painting/drawing, and hear a few voice actors re recorded? no thanks.
