How did you find out about the third guy? Does she still call you? But it might be a blessing, if that other guy is another alpha-male-whacko like her fiancé then they'll probably take it out on each other and you don't have to worry about it at all.

That's the hell of a motivation ... I agree that if they want something, they're not gonna let the distance stop them, which is why I think the best thing would be for her to loose interest in contacting him. Doesn't mean she couldn't randomly be reminded to reappear in his life decades later for some obscure reason, but then again, everyone we know could turn crazy on us. Let's just hope with all the fucked up shit she seems to attract, he's just gonna be number xx for her eventually and will be forgotten about, so she can focus on why she set her pet cougar on fire or something.
