i hate it. i don't like his harmonic interpretation at all, not to mention his timing screams amateur.

I don't think it does justice to the mood of the original melody, either. But it is jazzy! lol

There's an interesting analogy to "classical" music there, if you replace the hard/software by a perfectly sight-reading orchestra - effectively a giant, human, and much more versatile pianola. Except all the knob twiddling has to be done inside your head.
