Same here. Also I had hyped the shit out that movie and made everyone at my job join me and some friends to go watch it. I hated myself as much as the movie movie afterwards.

yeah, makes me laugh out loud every fucking time.

prometheus is like that hot girlfriend you know you shouldn't stay with, but you lust after her so greatly that you try to look passed all her flaws in order to make things work.

that's pretty much me when I watch prometheus. I just try not to think and enjoy the aesthetic.

some of the best parts of the movie aren,t actually in it,like the TED peter weyland speech,and the robot advert interviews,i think someone made a fan edit with some of these clips intergrated into it,but i can,t be bothered with this film much anymore to be arsed watching it

That mashup of Alien and Prometheus that was online a while ago was pretty decent actually. Almost succeeded in making Prometheus palatable

Well, it all depends on how it's been mixed. If you're lucky you might be able to isolate the dialogue, since it'll most likely be pretty much centered throughout the entire movie unless someone is talking off-screen and the music should be in the L and R channels.
