SlanGiN BoX : WATMM Covers Squarepusher

Changed my mind a few days ago, will cover On Fire Again, the japanese bonus track of Shobaleader. Track is pretty fun, but pretty harsh to cover.

With as much of a second guessing wannabe perfectionist as I am, I really fucked myself saying I'm doing my two favorite Pusher songs so close to the deadline. Not gonna get much sleep the next few days but it's looking like it will be well worth it. I'm recording in a much different manner than I ever have before and it's inspiring well enough.

Did anyone pick "Anirog D9"? I think I might switch to that.

Well I really love My Sound but I'm no jazz musician and the key changes are really fucking hard to make sound like the original. Guess I'm going to keep this cover simple, short and sweet. Should an easier time with U.F.O.'s but the production on that is going to have to be much more creative.

 

BTW "Feed Me Weird Covers" is definitely the only title I like so far besides "Slangin Box"

Never worked that much and that fast on a track...Hope it'll be good !

And as for the comp title...Feed Me Weird Covers sounds a bit...Weird, doesn't it ? I was thinking of "Amen, Pusher" or something like that.

I finished my cover in January. Guess I can do a cover of my cover.

I sent mine to you chassis. I love how people were getting on me about posting my track back in january when I finished it, and people still have yet to even start theirs. I have a feeling this is going to be more of a cover Ep.

I have a feeling you somehow magically missed our point when we stated the multiple reasons why you don't publicly post your submission for a compilation project like this.

Uh, no, I have not gone back and read any of the old pages in months. I just don't have a shitty memory maybe?

 

Don't forget the power having a deadline. Especially after getting used to how these community projects can work, some people need a deadline to get serious. Why finish something really fast and want to share it when you can wait till there's a deadline, feel the pressure to push yourself into doing your best efficiently and then not have to wait months after you made your track to be able to share it with people. You see why it's a bit silly that you seem so pompously proud that you finished your track back in January. No reason to boast a 1st at the finish line. Some people on here have lives much busier than yours or take much longer to work. O well, waiting is no big deal, patience is a good value to have when working with others.

Either your just being a passive aggressive too cool for school troll or you don't seem to get is that I'm not trying to be super cereals or argue with you. Just trying to help you understand the way things can work around here with community projects. You just seem incredibly negative and I think that's a pointless waste of energy. If you don't like that this isn't the fastest moving productive music community on the interwebs you don't have to get your undies in a knot about it.

I made my cover before there was even an idea of a cover album! SO THERE!
