It’s a celebrity doc, but one of the strangest unanswered celebrity deaths in Hollywood. Was it toxic mold, did the mom kill them both, did the husband kill Brittany and the mom killed him out of revenge? bizarre

This was bad, using clips from her movies as if they were the events surrounding her death was in poor tastes and didn’t work well. No real new info was included except her douchebag con man husband had 2 bastard children instead of one. Brittany, her mom and husband were all heavily addicted to prescription meds, and it seems just negligent healthcare allowed two people in the same house to die of pneumonia, the meds could have also suppressed their immune systems. Tragedy.

Remember watching this and having it on video tape. 91 documentary on all that backward masking, suicides, PMRC stuff involving heavy/death metal. It’s amusing to hear ultra conservative American preachers opinions. Oddballs.

They finished a new season of this before MKW passed away. I’ve suspected there must be massive nationwide networks of gun running fueling this rash of gun violence in American cities, seems to be what’s happening.

"The new corporation" has a good first half, after that it puts false hope in so called "progressive" movements IMHO.
Sadly it is no where close to the quality of the original.

This one is the original, if you haven't seen it you should.

no-digital release is a fuggin' sh*t idea

Could you post the name of the doc? It seems like the vid you linked is region-locked.

Hockney–Falco Thesis

  Quote

The Hockney–Falco thesis is a theory of art history, advanced by artist David Hockney and physicist Charles M. Falco. Both claimed that advances in realism and accuracy in the history of Western art since the Renaissance were primarily the result of optical instruments such as the camera obscura, camera lucida, and curved mirrors, rather than solely due to the development of artistic technique and skill. Nineteenth-century artists' use of photography had been well documented.[1]

In a 2001 book, Secret Knowledge: Rediscovering the Lost Techniques of the Old Masters, Hockney analyzed the work of the Old Masters and argued that the level of accuracy represented in their work is impossible to create by "eyeballing it". Since then, Hockney and Falco have produced a number of publications on positive evidence of the use of optical aids, and the historical plausibility of such methods. The hypothesis led to a variety of conferences and heated discussions.

Exhaustingly thorough (3hr 15min) but really good, if you’re interested in the horror-based type stuff I rant about.

Edit: one gripe with this film; there is an entire section called Folk Horror Revival, yet they don’t speak to Andy Paciorek, who has been instrumental in the UK revival for years.

Very interested to see her side of the story, Brian Warner is a monster, that was well established even before he blew up. Also, recently watching some Westworld, and couldn’t help but think Evan tapped into some of that trauma to inform her character Dolores
