Here's my track. I tried to master it myself, but I'm sure Zephyr would have done a better job. Now y'all can see what I meant when I said it would probably not be stylistically cohesive with the other tracks. That said, I really like it, and I'm happy to have had the motivation to finish it.

Man this track is awesome, and if mine had any more influence from the other half of cubus it would've no doubt ended up sounding like something similar !

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

Aww. I didn't make it. Although, honestly I'd be surprised if my track was stylistically cohesive with any of the others, so it's probably for the best. I guess I'll try to master my own and post it.

Stylistically cohesive with what, having the same watmmers on every compilation? No offense guys.

edit for clarification: I'm suspecting it's either that everyone else is submitting shitty tracks or there is a certain bias amongst the enigmatic judges in regard to the sound of the music. Naturally I'm a bit ticked since I worked hard on my track but I'm not meaning to refer to myself here, projects like this deserve new blood (if it's such a hard decision why not go with the new guy?). No doubt y'all have some great tracks on there, espeially anxious to hear what Enter has cooked up, just saying.

yea i heard the same from multiple people here that the comps are mostly a "watmm friendslist"

I'll wait till i have 5k posts to enter again :spiteful:

Thanks for the kind words, and stop moaning you cry-babies. It's safest to operate under the assumption that the same people make really good tracks, not that the judging is rigged.

if it's any consolation, there were only 3 judges from watmm and the other 5 never heard of watmm. There were a couple tracks that were voted in across the board. All the rest kept changing with each of the judges votes. All The entries didn't suck. I took all the tracks, hid the artists identity, and told the judges to pick tracks that they feel best fits Nikola Tesla. I even provided them with reference links to Mr. Tesla to help them with their decisions. They all said that it was hard because they loved all the tracks but made their decisions regardless.

Also Ranky, I was pretty heart broken that yours didn't make the cut. It was a personal favorite of mine.

I got on last year after only being on WATMM for three months & not really posting much, so I don't really think it's a secret clubhouse thing. Just a dozen or so tracks that mesh well with each other.

I'm working on some tracks for label so maybe this will get released anyway...

Sweet funky Jesus, that track is incredible. Any chance of a download link?

EDIT: If that one didn't make the cut, I cannot wait for this album.

Congrats to the people that made it! Here was the track I made, only had 2 days to work on it, but I was pretty happy with it either way:

Thanks. If you wanna hear more music like it, the closest there is is russian ballet. Check this out:

I should write more ballet inspired tracks, I think.

I think the fact that our names were removed from the tracks should be the strongest evidence that the best tracks got in. Sounds like you had an excellent judging setup, asymm.
