I might be being stupid but I can't find release dates for anything to do with this album. And I also can't find out whether these are going to be iPad only apps or not?

Also, it's rather annoying how the vinyl is released. So many different versions, yet only two actual songs.

MP3s/FLACs/WAVs are available for both "Crystalline" and "Cosmogony".

Björk, I am disappointed you do not boycott Apple. I hope Matthew Barney will give it to you hard for this.

Did anyone buy the Crystalline app? It sucks to be quite honest and it doesn't even have the breakcore section, and I can only listen to it within the app and not in iTunes. Not that impressed really.

I'm pissed that the "Manual" / book version was limited by timeframe. I didn't even know about it and now I can't even buy it.

Sooooo there is a deluxe edition and a reg version....

I can't seem to find the difference. Just more mixes on the deluxe. And I'm not talking about the super deluxe one with tuning forks and stuff...

any help?

There was a made-to-order pre-order only "Manual" 2xCD version housed in a hardback, embossed book with foil block featuring lots of M/M Paris artwork. Then you get a digipak version and a standard jewelcase edition. Plus, as you say, the nonsensical tuning fork nonsense edition.

Damn, I would have bought that if I'd known about it in time. Anyone know how much it was?

I can't believe how little promo there was for this. I didn't find out about any of this deluxe stuff until it was far too late to order. She didn't even send emails out as far as I'm aware...

I heard about this limited book edition, but nothing on it having a bonus disc, so that annoys me quite a bit! Then again the tracks so far haven't overly impressed me....something missing

I think it was £37 or thereabouts. I pre-ordered it myself. The marketing for this was, as is typical for a new Björk release, all over the place.

Based on what I'm hearing so far, though (i.e. 'Vespertine' collides with 'Volta' as the latter drains the former of any vitality and replaces it with pretension) I may not even bother to open the wretched thing.
