you could say something like "nice set, hope you come back to town again soon" and walk away. it's probably just best to avoid the line "i'm a huge fan of yours and i used to love you, please listen to me -- the things you've been doing lately have been deeply dissappointing me," as if you're their crazy ex-wife. other lines to avoid might include "Suck my diiick!" "Nice set, I'll suck your diick!" and "wanna come back to my house and eat a bunch of mushrooms and listen to my favorite songs of yours?"

I had one that wasn't orange, but red, that i took around to gigs. But when i thought about it later, it was pretty stupid of me. Never used the flash though, it autofocus range finding.

I find negative comments to my stuff (I don't make music) to be the most entertaining/refreshing ones. They can teach you something. I often find my hopes to be reconfirmed by negative comments.

For example, a youtube user called "buckywine" wrote (on a Polygon Video I made using clips I recorded in a small Northern Irish town):
