i wasn't disappointed with the ending, i think what he was trying to get across is that there will always be someone else there to pick up the reins and carry on, in essence it is all mostly futile. and please do not compare this with lost, its insulting. this did not drag out over a ton of seasons and have a made up in 2mins cop out ending

 

I gotta agree with Gordo a little - the ending was weak.

kaen. you're right Luther turned out to be some of the most ridiculous "serious drama" i've seen

I didn't think the ending was weak. Anybody comparing this to Lost shouldn't be watching stuff like this.
