ziggomatic is interesting, I find it very emotional but doesn't conjure up ridiculous landscapes in my head the way some tracks do. Meltphace 6 definitely does that, but in general most of the tracks on Drukqs seem like some weird diagram of running through different noises denoted with some bizarre symbols or something. Bbydhyonchord is sort of inbetween, it's atmosphere but sort of shadowy/vague in some way. Not that Ziggomatic isn't interesting, it's just a more direct sensory experience or something while other Aphex tracks are just sort of a kjhgfjgjhfd hodgepodge of sounds where I parse it into a general sort of atmosphere and it's more relaxing/subduing

Ziggomatic v17 is a solid track. Less gimmicky and more serious. which is good.

Definetely prefer Alberto Balsam to 4. Again, less gimmicky and more weight on emotion & intertwining melodies that serve to transport instead of merely raise the corners of your mouth.

i prefer laughable butane bob over balsam and 4 both.

"4" IS in fact his best work that didn't really chard. or at least one of those songs

I have a special place for the song because it's the first Aphex Twin song I listened to. Optimistic, yes. But it's more contemplative, I wouldn't call it a "happy go lucky track" especially compared to girl/boy
