This shit smells LUSH ^^^^^^^ but it dries my hair out so badly.

Anyway 4 isn't even the best track on the album (Girl/Boy Song!!!!!!!!11) let alone the best track he's ever done.

I got so bored last week, I did a spreadsheet of the most commonly namechecked favourite Aphex songs on another forum - turned out it was a tie between Rhubarb and Xtal. Didn't see that coming. (Tie between GBS and Windowlicker in second place.)

4 is good, probably the highlight of RDJ album, although Peek makes me happy.

54 Cymru Beats kicks ass in my opinion, but I think I have a Berzerk fetish.

If remixes count, that 808 State remix is my favorite thing he's done.

I listened to the RDJ albums this morning while doing some coding, that album has to be the very best album to code to. The instant 4 came on I felt more brilliant.

This is my favorite Aphex Twin music video. It's so brilliant and full of amateurism at the same time. When people ask me what music I like, and I say Aphex Twin, and they say they haven't heard of him, and I say well let me show you some of his music, I show them this video. It is really representative of his large body of work. I think it's his least gimmicky track. Definitely wouldn't show up on any boring dumb mainstream MTV "Amped" CD. My favorite moment is after the break, when the melody and drums kick back in. It's such a nugget of brilliance, and perfectly contrasts his ambience with crazy breakbeats. I never get tired of this track.

4's snares appeal to me greatly

the programming is great. but once i actually listened to the drum noises closely, it was a case of 'cannot unsee'

no probs like that on drukqs.

I have to agree with this post whole-heartedly. Drukqs is far and away a better album.

4 is in the top 10, it was the winner for a period of time.

www.petergaber.com is where I keep my paintings. I used to have a kinky tumblr, but it exploded.

4 was probably the track that really made aphex interesting to me, i had heard other stuff before but that was the one that really pulled me in, but his best work? no.

ZOMG! Lazerz pew pew pew!!!!11!!1!!!!1!oneone!shift+one!~!!!
