pics you took that you're pleased with

thanks again guys, really do appreciate all your positive comments!

baph - I've no frame of reference to go by, other than comparing my X100T to the countless smartphones I've been using prior. But this thing kicks the shit out of any smartphone camera.

The only general gripe there seems to be with Fujifilm cameras is the menu system. I can attest to it being a bit finicky, also the Q-Menu profiles (supposed to be like setting snapshots) doesn't really work as I would like it to, so I just don't bother using it.

awesome fotos osc!!! are these your first photos with a pro camera? i mean i believe you've been posting on this thread since the beginning but this last batch is really something!!! keep up!

yeah, this is my first 'proper' camera - my only photography experience has been with my phone cameras. Indeed, I started the thread and I've been posting periodically with my phone camera pics, but this X100T has definitely kicked it up a notch.

Some pics from my trip to Charleston over the weekend. Some lush greenery down there.

that last one there, I would be totally tempted to put it all in black and white except for the traffic cone.

VLC in the wild.

bird in front of clouds (y)
bridge sunset (y)
big tree in charleston (y)
going where horses are (y)

these are all from my first week living outdoors in mtl

All taken with a Canon Sure Shot 35mm I bought off E-Bay for $5.

very nice, especially like the upwards shot at the sky, with the buildings. I'm a sky whore.

He's using VSCO, already mentioned it somewhere in here.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

osc, do you do any editing in photoshop when it comes to colour/ b&w?

Indeed, I use VSCO Film in Lightroom, and (when I have my phone around, currently I don't thanks to Motorola) VSCO Cam. yeah, I'm one of those hipster types that fakes the film look.

But I do love the VSCO filters.

They're awesome.
