Very nice pictures man. I think we might get the same camera you got, it's time for an upgrade.

made this at a chemical printing workshop thing today in Liverpool. Really awesome, playing about with film developing chemicals on photosensitive paper

I just bought an XF23mm 1.4 R lens, and I've pre-ordered the X-Pro2.

Exait.

In the meantime, here are the last few pics I took with my X100T a few days ago. That camera has now been traded in.

Nice pic man, it looks like a tv sitting atop an odd concreted landscape in the late afternoon light, the windows are almost like pools of water.

Also, that staircase pic is alright osci, nicely done. I'm over interestingly framed bleak city architecture scapes an age ago, but the stair case is very good.

Anyone here who prefer not using filters/post-process at all (or knows about anyone really good)? Would love to see some outstanding dry pictures.

Gonna break the rules for a moment and post a pic I saw in the latest issue of NatGeo

EDIT : I love the above pic ^^^

Good lord that is an old stove, Braintree.

@ Jev -- I prefer not to post-process and shoot raw for the most part. I don't even own photoshop or the like. I'm sure most of my photos could look all crazy with more processing, but I can't be arsed to do it for too long if any as long as the pic is quality and was what I was going for when taking the pic.

but....all digital photos are processed by the JPEG converters inside them (if you're shooting in JPEG mode, if in RAW mode then they're not processed) and thusly are 'filtered' through whatever colour curves they have.

but hey-ho

Lovely played osc but you know what I meant :-*

I will clarify my question.

Anyone here or on the internet (you know about) with a fairly neutral camera and with no filters/post-process?

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy good processed pictures. I am just curious.

I shoot in raw but that requires tweaking in Lightroom, if nothing other than to provide enough sharpening to make the image not look like poo on a screen.

I usually tweak by Lightroom fader beyond that, though. Control over processing is the only reason to shoot raw over jpeg.

But I don't think osc was just being facetious; it's really hard to know where to draw the "purity" line in photography.

I've uploaded stuff straight from my camera, and did that a lot more before I got a steep discount on Lightroom a few years back, but looking back the tweaked stuff is probably closer to what "I saw," if that's a basic requirement for naturalistic photos.

Tl;dr is basically "I unno." Probably the easiest way to see something like what you want is to set some narrow official parameters and get submissions? Because basic exposure and sharpening and white balance points etc are maybe necessary if you're not shooting jpeg?
