keith moon should have never taken those clomethiazole tablets,

syd barrett was a bit heavy on the acid and mandrax/benzos,

brian wilson should not have tried cocaine.

This would be great ammunition for D.A.R.E., that is if most children and their parents didn't listen to shit music.

K7 promising a Burial DJ Kicks mix and getting all the sleeves printed up but apparently not checking with Burial that he was actually going to do it

Same with his Massive Attack remix project...

i'm upset at myself for giving as much attention to anticon and mush records as i did—the whole lo-fi white angst avant garde folk-hop was a big mistake as far as my music-listening tendencies go.

anticon seemed a bit too introverted for their own good but they've seemed to branch out lately. Baths is signed to them for example, instead of a label like Brainfeeder. Also, the popularity of OFWGKTA and Lil' B have changed the assumptions people have about "alernative" or "experimental" hip-hop and how it should sound...

Radiohead sticking with Nigel Godrich for too long and sounding increasingly flat, stale, and boring.

Every Beck album he touches sounds excellent, though.

Uh, just sounds like you're just saying you like Beck and not Radiohead. Godrich's production work with Radiohead is still top-notch. He's a huge part of why they've been so acclaimed from OK Computer onward...

flying lotus lack of continuity since 'los angeles'

I kinda feel the same way, but do you mean Cosmogramma? That's a very unified, full-blown album. He seems busy/distracted with Brainfeeder as well

I think Ghostly has gone up in quality overall in the past few years. Pale Sketcher, Shigeto, Gold Panda, Mux Mool, Com Truise, The Sight Below, SMM: Context, all solid releases with (imo) really nice artwork. I like Michael Cina.

Ghostly has been doing everything Rephlex hasn't, even outshined Warp IMO. I think Planet Mu's getting better as well, especially in terms of artwork. Juke aside they've been releasing great future bass tracks.

My only two cents is this... Ninja Tune They just don't excite me anymore in general, I feel like they've kind of missed out on a lot of developments and/or signed too few people in the last decade...
