Since chillwave was a fairly brief 80s-esque psuedo-revival music that actually sounded more like 90s music, I say a Big Beat revival called "bigstep" or "xtremewave" will emerge in 2-3 months and exist for about 72 hours of bloated blog and music journalist coverage.

I was just thinking about how almost the entire genre of Big Beat didn't age well . Every time I hear big beat music I start thinking about cheesy 90's action movies, or bad X GAMES montage videos
