Oh fuck, those point and click games, amazing. I played them a lot with my mum, she was really into that stuff, anyone remember the Hugo series?

Some really fucking hard puzzles in those games. I remember one had references to some fantasy books, and we had to call a friend's mum to figure them out, hahah.

And those Lucasarts point and click games too! The Dig, Full Throttle etc. Man, games in the mid 90s were awesome.

I went on a binge in there recently, I wish I hadn't. The games all failed to live up to my memories.

that game was hilarious.

my friend had a mac classic back in the day and i'm trying to find a game. the title screen there was a castle. the game consisted of a little character you controlled and there were bats and other dangers. the goal was to get to the exit. it reminds me of prince of persia but it's not.

btw what'd people think of circuit's edge? i had an activision five-pack game including that, tongue of the fatman and a few others as a kid, but i was too young and stupid to know how to beat almost any video game. anybody play it?

and ELECTRO BODY! I randomly picked that up from a newsagent once (they had a stall with shareware on 3.5" floppies for sale, probably not quite legal) and it was awesome.

Damnit, I wish there were versions of those old platform games on DS/iphone, I'd play the fuck out of them (I'm not getting a gp2x or whatever, I already have enough portable game consoles, don't want to spend money on another one)
