new Arrested Development spin-off & movie

The story in this season is fantastically put together, even if it doesn't scratch the previous seasons in terms of laughs. Some genuine LOL's in there though.

My main gripes are:

Having actors play young George and Lucille. She was an alright Lucille, but it didn't work for me as well as when they just put young wigs on the older actors before. Rogan was shit.

Obviously keeping the family separated is a bad idea, whether it's done for scheduling purposes or not.

Maria Bamford's character was shit and that plot thread kind of ruined Tobias's episodes.

Same with the face blindness guy.

i have a special place in my heart (and my penis) for girls with dark hair and a lot of freckles. Not sure why but I find the premise insanely attractive

just finished all 15 episodes, while the plot was complicated and expertly laid out, i can't say that it was that amazing. Instead of doing a long weaving story between all the characters I would have rather just seen stand alone stories for every episode.

Tobias and Gob saved the day.

so, the director just "remixed" season 4 and it's streaming on netflix...
