What are you talking about? You mean like, sample rate? Yeah, that's not really subjective, just like Blu-ray is higher quality than DVD, but that's just a medium. Yes, WAVs are higher quality than 128kbps mp3s, but I don't think that that's the point you were making originally because you were talking about how some bands were objectively really terrible, which has nothing to do with the quality of their sound files.

I'll give you this much. Sample rate is a number. That is a quantifiable, measurable characteristic of music quality that you can, you know, measure with science. Just like I said. And the medium is only as good as the source.
