Yeah, what ever happened to this? Sounds like a great idea to me.

I would add as a minor caveat, that imo such splicing would be superfluous and entirely redundant, if t'were ever attempted to be applied to the "Hallowed '05"s, viz. Montreal and Glasgow.

I would supplement this sentiment with the following ringing exhortation -
