i am completely astonished by the first piece, especially! so intense.

the fact that Richard is behind this concept and is writing music in such a context makes me very happy.

he is no longer the bedroom producer to which we all fell in love with. he is no longer Aphex, Caustic, Polygon or The Tuss. he is enjoying new possibilities of writing and performing music and i hope he continues doing what he is best at: innovating in the music field while coming up with new concepts, i a world where everything just doesn't seem to surprise. Go Richard

Everything here states it's videos from the 'shows', plural. No Reich 75 footage here :(

Was really hoping to see/hear more of the Pendulum music!

yeah, this. pendulum was simply amazing, why give us the noisefests when you can actually treat us with the bliss pendulum was :(

Don't get me wrong, I like this too. It's just I saw these last week when they surfaced first, thought it might be something different.

Not my cup of tea but cool to see Aphex doing something very different.

Yep. And it sounds very little like Aphex Twin, more than some electro aoustic music anyone (of course not but anyway) could create

Check my dusty tunes and mixes over here: https://soundcloud.com/2kn

well, i dont like it (& i listen to loads of orchestral music + acousmatic stuff), well i only listen/watch to it once, perhaps its a grower.

but i like the mouth/breath noises, not fan at at all of the grand climax thing.

it's prolly one of those 'you werent there man, you werent there' type of things, as i guess it was rather enjoyable live. im glad i chose reich75 over this. i dont even llike penderecki from that screeechy period. bitching bitching bitching

Does anyone have a link to the spot in one of the recordings where he plays some stuff that sounds like prepared piano music? I remember hearing it, but can't find it again.

and why the hell is there no discussion over his hands ??? bitstream controller, ableton, max - wtf guys

hehe take a look at these hands

ya interesting setup, kinda bland results overall but with good moments, and i hope he keeps at it. that he shreds soms cliches and slaps on a real afx-stamp. ...pendulum music looks stand-out from the vids.
