A few releases I'm awaiting on around that date, February really seems to be dragging. And I have to second or third or whatever kaini, new Focus Group is way overdue.

Really hope GB stuff is going to get easier to get hold of in the States, there seems to be quite a bit of interest from the American WATMMers.

They're now available over at Experimedia, as of today. Reckless Records has a fair amount, and Other Music has a few titles as well. Certain titles never made it over here though, i.e. The Willows LP edition.

I was able to get As The Crow Flies through Amazon, though it was by no means easy.

Have any of you guys ever tried contacting GB directly? I have done (on kaini's recommendation) and found them perfectly amenable. You could maybe at least let them know how difficult it still is to get hold their releases in parts of the US. Perhaps it's just me, but it might be easy to underestimate how hard it is for Americans to get hold of stuff from other parts of the US.

I emailed them last year regarding this and never got a response, haha.

I'm not sure what's so hard about ordering direct from Ghost Box? I do it all the time. Shipping isn't pleasant, but what can you do?

Yeah, I got mine not too long after I posted. I wish they were giving a download code with the vinyl like they did with the last Advisory Circle album. I bought the CD and the LP and it'll be pirated all over the net well before it arrives in my mailbox.

Did you get it direct from Ghost Box? If so the vinyl is supposed to come with a free download- I've just got the CD on the way, so I dont get a download. Certainly listed on the Belbury Poly blog as getting a download code with the vinyl- maybe they will send out the code tomorrow as thats when its officially released...

Yes, I did. Hadn't read Jim's blog in a while, so I never saw that post. Good to know they're giving a download. The greedbag site didn't make any mention of it when I ordered the vinyl. Hopefully they'll send a link instead of having a code included in the record sleeve. Maybe I'll e-mail them later in the day.

FUCK GHOSTBOX. the last time i ordered from them, they sent me CDs instead of vinyls... and they won't fucking respond to my emails.

Weird, they've always been very responsive to me when I've written them. When my copy of As the Crow Flies seemed to be taking too long to arrive, they shipped me another one no questions asked.

It's a bit annoying pre-ordering this and not being able to have it on release day. Maybe that's as much down to the shitty postal service as much as anything.

Yeah no sign of mine today either- though only got shipping notice from greedbag late last night. Is kinda annoying as they've had the stock for weeks, and all the indy retailers (boomkat/ norman) have been shipping these out days ago. Would have been nice to have got it for the release date, hey-ho hopefully will turn up tomorrow...

Well, I don't want to be the guy who rubs it in, but I did get the download code sorted, and the album is fantastic. Really pushes into some new directions for Belbuy Poly-- there's a psyche rock vibe that's crept in a bit amongst the library stuff.

I got the download email as well just now (plus dispatch notice yesterday). It's on my computer and ready to go but really want to hear it on vinyl first (daft, I know). This is going to take some willpower.

The Kraut vibe of "Chapel Perilous" is just devastating.

yes that video is pretty damn great. got my dispatch notice but it always takes forever to cross the ocean.
