I don't really understand this "americanization" thing with black mirror season 3. How exactly is it americanized?
Only 3 of the 6 episodes are set in America and none of them are what I would describe as americanized. I'm not even entirely sure what that even means but I take it to mean maybe some kind of hammy soap opera acting or something. The only episode that really matched that description is the first one and that is a deliberately exaggerated style choice anyway. What is the problem with having a few episodes set in America? I don't get it.

It means Brits being triggered by people speaking correctly

(e.g. Pronouncing the letters at the end of words)

Don't worry, season 4 opens with an episode about Colin Firth and Hugh Grant bumbling poshly and apologizing to each other and offering each other tea and crumpets

I get triggered by yanks who don't pronounce the letters in the middle of words, like the f in fifth or the first r in forward.

Blunt Talk seems heavy on the drama and light on the laughs this season, but it still has its moments.

The running theme through Atlanta was a sadly humorous payoff. This show manages to juggle comedy & drama very effectively for a 1/2 hour show. The sequence where they were waiting for the jacket to be delivered was tense and beautifully done.

Almost finished season 2 of Fargo. Been putting this off for ages. It's good, but I'm pretty sure the first season gripped me way more

American sites are claiming longest in primetime TV history, just paraphrasing an article I read, and good ol US "journalism" acts like the rest of the world doesn't exist.  Who knows if they're right or not.

The herpes storyline on Blunt Talk was pretty funny, I've wondered myself if spreading HSV-1 from a glass or pipe / bong was likely.  I've read after 10 seconds on an object, the virus is dead.

The Crown. Incredibly dull and does nothing to temper my low opinion of the British Royal Family. Some nice cinematography though.

Stoked to watch OA II. The movement thing never bothered me, anyone familiar with Druidic studies will recognize the importance of movement to get to higher planes.

It got really heavy on the Iraq War metaphors for a while, and the ending was...divisive. I loved that show

Generation Kill, for probably the 5th or 6th time. probably my favourite miniseries.
