Last summer I bought and watched all 7 seasons, fuckin amazing show! Season 5 is a bit meh but still has a few solid episodes. For me, seasons 6, 7, and 8 are all perfect. This is coming from a massive Seinfeld fan, but this show is definitely not for everyone

I don't know if this has been posted in the thread already and I don't give a fuck.

More Arrested Development imminent!

FUCK YES!

mehhh, why does shows like these look so boring to me now? i've always loved everything post apocalyptic but this does nothing for me. why does everything look so shiny and clean? why does everyone look like photomodels with perfect C smiles? it's like the end of the world covered in shitloads of makeup and photoshop filters. booooooooooring. children of men and the road did it right.

it's like the new transformers movies. giant fucking robots from outter space duking it out in the middle of new york or whatever, it should be the most awesome thing ever, but somehow michael bay managed to make it boring as fuck. im getting the same feeling from recent shows like this and the post apocalyptic theme. i should be looking forward to it but i just can't be bothered.

well yeah, but it's the same with falling skies (TNT) and from what little i've seen of jericho (CBS).

here's what post apocalyptic us should look like:

Romanzo Criminale A lovely italian show from 2008 that takes place in the 70's/80's. A rags to riches story of a crime gang's rise to power in Rome. This show is amazing and quality-wise is on the level of an HBO or Showtime production. It seems totally weird that I haven't heard of it all these years.

Finished the second season of The Walking Dead. I can't wait for the third.

The second season wasn't as good as the first one. But the finale was excellent. I like how this show isn't afraid to kill off characters. And maybe it's little more gory than it really needs to be.

And I've started on Arrested Development.

I know I'm not going to be popular for saying this, but I really can't get into this show. Maybe I'm just too stupid or whatever, but It hasn't provided me with one decent lol yet.

FUCK YOU GET OUT OF HERE!!! jk. lol. actually i kinda know what you mean. the first two or three episodes don't really have much going for them. but trust me, once it gets going it never stops. just constant laughs throughout.

Yeah well.. To be fair most comedy shows aren't really that funny before you know the characters probably. I remember feeling the same way about The Office (UK). Couldn't really get into it, but I slowly started to liking it the more I watched it. So I will give it more time. The two first episodes was just painfully boring.

Äkta Människor just started watching this, its looking pretty interesting so far. Its a sweedish scifi show, kind of like if the movie AI was a series. It has the Oskar kid from Låt den rätte komma in.

hmmmm interesting

just about to start watching Underbelly, an Aussie Crime Drama based on real events of the 90s. My mate recommends it. He absolutely loves it but that is mainly cause he was in Australia at the time and was chomping on the exact pills that the characters in this show were making/selling (allegedly). Not sure if that's enough to make it a good show but it's all free on LoveFilm anyway so I'll have a looksee.

I've been going through Season 1 of the X Files by myself, and occasionally dipping into some of the Monster of the Week episodes from later seasons with my girlfriend.

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE PROGRAMME. I loved it so much when it was first shown over here. I was probably about ten years old. I wasn't sure what to expect going back to it, but man it really hit the ground running. Mulder and Scully had that brilliant chemistry right from day one.

We watched the killer cockroaches episode the other night. Incredible.

x files is basically my favourite.

i'm watching supernatural with my girlfriend. i think it was discussed a few pages ago. definitely reminds me of the x-files a lot, probably largely because kim manners directed and produced a lot of episodes of both. but it's quite good.
