Legion - It was Legion going full Legion. Multiple universes of David unfolded. Not sure why they were unfolding & there was no resolution. If there was resolution I missed it. One of the Davids stories coincides with the David we have seen since the series inception. But, are the other David multiverse selves just as valid?

I love this show, but this shit gon' get canceled. Anybody that knows the track that comes in at the end of the cold open, please let me know. Got stuck in my head.

Frontier. Series about the Hudson's Bay Company, a great bit of history that hasn't had much telly coverage. For people who don't know the HBC was a fur trading company that was granted an immense trading monopoly by Charles II across a swath of what would later become Canada and played a huge role in the development of Canada and/or the fucking over the natives. It still exists today in the form of a department store

 

It has Khal Drogo in it

read Lena Dunham is remaking "Camping", one of the best British comedies from the last few years

 

would ignore that & check the savagely glorious & awkwardly funny original (like anything written by Julia Davis) & turns out all 6 episodes are online

camping was brilliant. what possible benefit could you get from remaking that.

So American-speaking audiences can understand it, obviously. Comedy just doesn't translate well.

The recut season 4 of Arrested Development is a lot better than the original cut.

yeah seems like i'm enjoying it a bit more than the previous version... however, i could go without the recurring endless narration, gets a bit tiresome imo...

me too. that was great. one thing that made me laugh was how i noticed this one kid at the tournament who i never saw before during the dojo/training scenes. actually, you never see him fight at the tournament, but here's there for the pep talk. was he just a cheerleader? also, did you think robby (?) - the kid that larruso starts training looked like van damme in no retreat no surrender during the tournament?

amazing documentary. 

 

a pizza parlor gets a call for a pizza delivery. the delivery guy that takes the call delivers the order to a remote location where he's attacked and a bomb is strapped around his chest with a metal collar around his neck. he's given very detailed instructions on 9 pieces of paper on where to go to retrieve more instructions to get the key that would defuse the bomb before it blows him up.

 

after robbing the bank the cops surround him. he tells them what's happening but they don't believe him because he's too calm. whilst waiting for the bomb squad to arrive he shouts "i don't have much time" then he blows up. it turns out he was being led on a scavenger hunt - but why? and by whom?

Right when it was getting interesting. Hope it ends up on Netflix and they cancel Lost in Space.

That's some heavy spoilering Nebraska, is there anything more to it, sounds like it'd be interesting if I didn't know how the heist ended.

that's just the setup (about 10-15min of the first episode). there are 4 episodes and each episode is about 1 hr long.
