Atlanta season 3 is awesome, wtf. Not quite up to speed, but everything has been super duper so far.

Edit: it's been more of an Afro-American Black Mirror than the previous seasons though. It's like he took the Teddy Perkins episode and ran with it. More interesting take anyway imo.

I retract my statement. He aimed too high.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

I don't know how I missed We Own This City until now. just started this and it's great so far, I'm excited to see where it goes.

Just finished watching it and enjoyed it. Huge number of ex-Wire cast members which was great.

Watched the first two episodes from the latest season of a very British scandal (or whatever it’s called) and it’s good. I’m usually unable to get into shows where every character is an asshole but something about this actually works for me.

Yeah the episode lengths in this season are ridiculous. It's a bunch of movies, basically. Still, I've started it and will probably keep going. My g/f is definitely discouraged by the runtimes though. She may drop out.

For real, the finale is 1 hr 40 min. long, and it’s boring as shit.

I don't think I'm ever going to get round to watching the new season of Stranger Things. How am I supposed to invest that many hours in such a mediocre series. I mean the first season hit a sweet spot and had perfect timing when it was released, but that first run was pleeeeenty. There's not enough depth to this nostalgia shit to keep people watching indefinitely, all surface vibes man. 13 hour season? gtfo

I absolutely loved the new season.  They did something right, it's far better than 2 or 3.  Up there with Season 1 imho.

watching Atlanta tonight, and that actually WAS Jai Paul in season 3, I thought maybe it was his brother A.K. as he looks heavier now, with a dumber Backstreet Boys hairdo

Enjoying S3 of Love Death + Robots - every season has its mediocre shorts but there are some really strong ones in this one (visually and story-wise).

HBO dropping raised by wolves is a pity, I hope someone else picks it up like how amazon rescued the expanse.

Anyway:

Moon Knight. Like Wanda vision, starts with an interesting premise then progressively devolves into generic bleh.

Severance: pretty cool, but dat cliff hanger ending is a F.U. move and I'm certain it will pull a Westworld and completely cheapen the concept in future seasons cus it's got nowhere interesting to go from here, we'll see.

Stranger things: meh. Can't care for most of the plot points save for the main one in hawkings, doesn't resolve anything, whole season feels like an ad for the next one.

the boys: so far I'm uninterested, feels like how the walking dead turned into a soap opera.

Better call Saul: fantastic. Can't wait for next half of the season.

ZOMG! Lazerz pew pew pew!!!!11!!1!!!!1!oneone!shift+one!~!!!

Better Call Saul - the bodies are starting to pile up quickly, still no sign of Walter or Jesse yet. I'm imagining Kim must meet some grizzly fate in the series finale next year

Snowfall - catching up on some past seasons, this show is consistently good, but doesn't get the props other drug crime shows do bc the acting is too dry sometimes, trying to imitate BB. The soundtrack is always on point

Strange New Worlds - still getting better as it develops, the British Khan descendent is trying my nerves though

I just started S1 of Stranger Things.  I know, i'm about 6 years behind.  Which is pretty standard for me and TV.

Season 1&3 are good, 2&4 are bad. ymmv

Just finished s4. @GORDOfeels kind of on point here, as it sometimes feels like just all set up for last couple of episode. My wife says that "nothing happens" in Stranger Things (by which I think she means the above... sometimes it all feels like setup for more setup).

Had a realization though: because life there is no way I could have binge watched this. However, if I could have watched this all in like a weekend, I probably would have really enjoyed it. It's just NOT a season (maybe none of them are) where the episodes are really self contained or reach conclusion that's satisfying on their own (ep 4 maybe an exception).

Again, life/age but if I could do it over, I'd somehow have a weekend free and just do bingers at the beginning of each episode until I either reached the end or passed out and would probably be pretty happy overall.

Season 1 is excellent. 2 was good, 3 was...a mixed bag but overall. I've not had a burning desire to watch 4 yet for that reason.

Season 1 of Westworld was incredible as well but I've haven't been motivated to watch more of it. I feel asleep trying to watch the season 2 opener. Granted it was late but like, I clearly wasn't awaken by the episode's content.

Anyone watching Outer Range? It's like Longmire and Yellowstone with all the crap I don't really care for taken out and replaced by a general concentrate of generic brand x-files and twin peaks weirdness.

Season 2 of Westworld goes downhill fast. I'd watch it with low expectations if only to get some resolution on a couple things.

Don't get near season 3 tho.
