first season of Only Murders In The Building was great fun.

i watched Inside Job on Netflix a couple months ago and it was pretty good.

started Severance and like 4 or 5 episodes in but it’s …just okay. not bad, but feels awful tryhard, but it has its moments. hoping to be a bit surprised eventually.

The Rehearsal is still great.

Two episodes deep in Station Eleven, I'm not sure if I like it or not. It's good, but then there's stuff where I'm busy rolling my eyes and then it's good again. I'll keep watching because there's potential, but it stinks of intolerable "intellectual" snobbery.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

I just watched the last two episodes of full house because my friend was telling me how bad they were.

Spoilers, but whatever, Michelle falls off her horse and gets a head injury and can't remember anything. Then she does. All of the characters there all being sappy and being their full house selves.

There, now you don't have to watch it.

this was terrible. not sure, but i think this is aimed at very young kids because it's basically a cartoon.

not good

The only real reason to watch seems to be the d-list villains she’ll face, which would never make it into a movie.

So not long to go until Rings Of Power. Reading the comments section of the YouTube official trailers has been a blast. Wow Tolkien fan boys are a strange bunch….thats putting it mildly ?

I have not seen or read anything about it, but I am looking forward to it. Hopefully Amazon have figured out how to encode 4k hdr. Wheel of Time looked really fucked up when I watched it.

Very young kids probably don't know what an Attorney is though. I'm guessing if I watch this. It won't be explained to me either

@Soloman Tump this is how they (visually) explain what an attorney is (i'm not kidding because there are only about 2-3 scenes where she's actually attorneying)

are you familiar with vara dark? she's a youtuber that basically relishes on the failures of "woke" media. rings of power is her white whale.

before that it was the arrowverse. and before that it was G4.

the Sandman - why is it always the sixteen hundreds in the dreaming realm? doesn't make any sense... there's no industrial revolution or whatever... no tech... no cars... no cell phones... just dragons and smeaguls and hobbits and shit...

Anyway, I'm on the third ep and it's quite entertaining... looking forward to see where it goes...

edit:

why would they cast this bag of dicks to play the raven's voice I don't even... ??‍♂️

Episode 6 really nailed the feeling of the comic imo, which would be issues #8 & 13.
Also, how taking the opposite approach to Alan Moore, helped Gaiman retain more control over the Endless, and avoided what happened to Watchmen:

yeah show certainly got better as it went on, death nails her part well enough actually and godling's portrayal was also very entertaining.

one thing that's still majorly annoying is the added exposition dialogue / voiceover, like the intro or the "they're only bad because you destroy their dreams" yadda at the end of 24 hours, kinda ham-fisted and underestimating the audience's intelligence imo.

ah and hell felt somewhat uninspired in comparison to the comics...

well whatevs, enjoyable enough as it is after all.

if it helps kids getting into the comics that's cool.

one more complaint: morpheus is too off-character sentimental imo, far too much wet-eyes shit, not enough monarchic pride and cruelty. couldn't imagine the dude damning a woman to hell just for rejecting him.

exactly. i think the series' morpheus comes off as too soft for that. also crying over that raven they made up just for him to cry over... dunno man. otherwise he's pretty good tho.

should have specified: in comparison to the comics.

I'm getting prime for a bit. anything you guys can recommend to me?

Good question. I just got it to. A mate told me The Boyz is worth watching. That’s all I know.

Invincible, The boys, fleabag, the expanse...

Also the new reacher and the terminal list if you're into that sort of thing.

Agree on The Boys, The Expanse, and Reacher. I liked the Jack Ryan show. A couple others worth trying are Tales From The Loop, Patriot, and Homecoming.

the Sandman - I'm not familiar with the source material so that's probably why I'm lost in these last episodes regarding The Vortex... gonna watch last 2 eps tonite and if I don't get it one of you's gonna have to enlighten me... it's pretty addictive though... except for the vortex's friend who keeps dreaming about her dead boyfriend... it's boring af and I can't seem to grasp what it has to do with everything else...
