I rarely watch series,

but I've just seen fisrt season of 1899. It started quite nice, but the last two episodes went really ridiculous. it have some nice decor and designs anyway.

I watched "the staircase" also. quite ok.....but I didnt' made it to the end.

Finished watching "The Peripheral". Jesus did they ever butcher Gibson's work. I was cautiously optimistic after the first three episodes but fuck me what a disaster.

Started watching "The Handmaid's Tale" and have enjoyed the first four or five episodes, dark as fuck and wildly too accurate around the way some people think about women.

Season 2 of "Slow Horses" is fucking great - because Gary Oldman is fucking great. But the rest of the cast is fucking great. In conclusion, it's fucking great.

Andor - I've heard good things from people I like and trust so will have to give it a go.

Shout outs to the saracens, musulmen and celestials.

Finished S2 of White Lotus. Helluva show.
Now I’m watching Bad Sisters. It’s ok. I’m not amazed or anything but I’ll keep watching.
Just also watched the Lorena Bobbit doc series on Amazon. Very interesting. John Wayne Bobbit definitely deserved to get his d sliced off.

Finished White Lotus season 2, very entertaining.
Watching Happyish now it's pretty funny.

no-digital release is a fuggin' sh*t idea

I think after watching your last classic, mine would be Better Call Saul, one seems one goes into a tailspin of lost confusion into finding the next show you want to sink your teeth into. Especially as there is so much to choose from. Tried a few which totally failed. Now found Yellowstone, which is ticking all the boxes. I think it’s brilliant. Perfect escapism. Bonus being I have 5 seasons to watch ?

The scenery, politics, violence, Red Indian vs Cowboy shenanigans and usual American stuff which I find quite addictive etc etc. It’s a top show imo.

Not much to see here, lots of fake phone call threats, fake Zendaya. The nerdy guy from the movies hasn’t shown up yet. It’s more like Carmen Sandiego with ridiculous Batman logic.

Started watching 1899 I like it, maybe not as good as Dark but it's still  pretty good. Soundtrack is also nice, pretty important.
Finished Wednesday; funny and entertaining but with a horrible soundtrack with the exception of 1 or 2 songs it's all shite pop not fitting at all.

Just came to echo praise for White Lotus, especially season 2. This is probably an odd take but the newly wed wife in season 1 struck me as the most infuriating character, while it felt like she was being cast as the main protagonist. Maybe it’s just because it seems so unrealistic that all her morals wouldn’t have surfaced and caused a confrontation and ended the relationship before she had the revelation of becoming a trophy wife.

I don’t know, I’m definitely a little retarded and maybe between when the masseuse (who garnered the most sympathy)  leaving her hanging while she was airing out her problems and her embracing the frat boy at the airport was a sign that she accepted that money was the motive behind getting married all along. But yeah, I just found her annoying as hell after the first couple of episodes ?

Still cracking on with Yellowstone. I love it. Season 2 was brilliant. Currently halfway through Season 3, which started fairly slowly but is now picking up pace. No doubt a trail of bodies and destruction will start appearing if they start building an airport lol (which is fine when you constantly ask the sheriff to make it disappear) . I notice there’s already a few spin offs, one with Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford which sounds interesting…
